President Trump celebrated the support he’s received from Kanye West at his rally Saturday evening.

The controversial rapper made headlines this week when he tweeted, “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does.”
West also showed off his signed “Make America Great Again” hat and got a personal thank you from the president on Twitter. He even released a new song defending his praise of Trump.
While West has faced a great deal of backlash for his embrace of Trump, the president said what West is doing is “very important.”
“When he sees that African American unemployment, you know. People are watching. That’s a very important thing he has done for his legacy,” Trump said.
