In the Democratic debate brawl Thursday night on ABC, several charged that President Trump all but pulled the trigger in recent mass shootings.
Three candidates, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, Sen. Kamala Harris and Obama-era Housing Secretary Julián Castro, said that Trump is to blame for the recent shootings, especially the Walmart slaying of 22 on Aug. 3.
Castro said that the shooting was “inspired by Trump.”
O’Rourke said that the 22 were killed by “a man carrying a weapon he should never have been able to buy in the first place, inspired to kill by our president.”
And Harris said, “He didn’t pull the trigger, but he’s certainly been tweeting out the ammunition.”
The candidates at the debate argued how tough to get on gun control, but O’Rourke warned, “Hell yes we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.”
