Prince George’s County Police are looking for two men suspected in a “pigeon drop” scam and an armed robbery.

On Friday, the two men approached a man in Beltsville and said they wanted to make a charitable donation, then combined their money with the victim’s, wrapped the cash in a package and placed it in the victim’s vehicle. When the victim later checked the package, he found that the men had switched the package with one containing shredded newspaper. The victim lost about $9,000, police said.
The duo is also being sought in an armed robbery in Laurel last week.
