WATCH: Carly Fiorina sings to Ted Cruz’s daughters at her VP announcement

Carly Fiorina used part of her Republican vice presidential announcement speech to sing to Ted Cruz’s daughters, two girls she’s grown attached to while campaigning with their father.

“I know two girls that I just adore, I’m so happy I can see them more, ’cause we travel on the bus all day, we get to play, we get to play,” Fiorina sang, then adding. “I won’t bore you with any more of the song.”

The Texas senator earlier told the audience that his young daughters, Caroline, 8, and Catherine, 5, enjoy texting with Fiorina, who is particularly adept at using heart and smiley emojis.

Cruz and Fiorina announced she was joining his ticket in Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon. The Hoosier State will have its primary May 3.
