Bruce rocked D.C.’s Verizon Center Sunday and Monday night … but which Washingtonians rocked out to the Boss?
Lots of media types were spotted in the crowd: Sunday show hosts Tim Russert (who once cited Springsteen as his ideal guest), George Stephanopoulos and Chris Wallace. Also, NBC’s Andrea Mitchell and Betsy Fischer.

Hillary Clinton fans Terry McAuliffe and Hilary Rosen were also rocking during Sunday’s show. McAuliffe deserves extra props for mustering up the energy to rock out after having stayed up late for Saturday’s Jefferson Jackson Dinner in Iowa and, later that evening, a night on the town in Des Moines with Quincy Jones. McAuliffe took eight couples with him, including some top aides and their spouses.
Maybe McAuliffe found the extra energy Sunday night by riding a high from the previous night: A tipster tells us that, as McAuliffe and Jones hung out at a hotel bar that was hosting an Obama for President party Saturday night, the former DNC chairman found himself signing copies of his latest book, “What a Party!” for, yes, Obama supporters.
