Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan became the latest Republican governor on Wednesday to announce he does not intend to vote for Donald Trump in the November election.
After months of criticizing his party’s presumptive presidential nominee, Hogan told reporters that it is unlikely he will cast his ballot for Trump five months from now.
“No, I don’t plan to,” Hogan said when asked if he would vote for the de facto GOP nominee.
Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker have also indicated they will not be voting for Trump in his general election contest against Hillary Clinton.
Less than 24 hours before he declared his opposition to Trump, Hogan told reporters, “I don’t care about Donald Trump. I don’t listen to Donald Trump.”
Trump carried 54 percent of the vote in Maryland’s Republican primary in April.
