The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has asked the White House for all documents in its possession that might explain how a White House transcript was edited to remove a key answer about the Iran nuclear agreement.

Last week, ABC News reported that in a May 9 press briefing, White House press secretary Josh Earnest was asked if he could say that no senior official ever lied about the Iran deal.
