The First Family’s Thanksgiving celebration was briefly interrupted by a security scare Thursday afternoon after an unidentified man reportedly jumped the White House fence.
CNN correspondent Athena Jones first reported the incident around 3 p.m. ET Thursday, claiming Secret Service agents had apprehended and detained a man who jumped the fence located along the White House North Lawn.
The White House was immediately placed on lockdown, according to CNN.
Earlier this week, Secret Service placed the White House on temporary lockdown after a woman tossed an apple core over the fence along the South Lawn.
