Police are trying to track down a man they believe is responsible for two Maryland bank robberies.
Both heists happened in October at M&T Bank branches in the Towson area of Baltimore County.
The first was reported on Oct. 13, when a man entered the M&T Bank located at 6889 Loch Raven Blvd. shortly after noon, according to Baltimore County police and Metro Crime Stoppers. The robber passed the teller a note that implied he was carrying a weapon and demanded money.

The man fled from the bank on foot after obtaining cash, authorities said.
Police said the second robbery occurred on Oct. 18. The man entered the M&T Bank branch located at 1005 York Road at about 11:45 a.m. and passed the clerk a note that demanded money and indicated he had a weapon, authorities said. The man then ran away on foot.

The two banks are about three miles apart.
Authorities didn’t disclose how much money the man obtained in either heist.
The robber is described as a black man with a medium complexion who was 20 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 170 pounds. He had brown eyes.
Anyone who has information about the heists is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP (562587). Tipsters can also send a text message that says “MCS” plus the information to CRIMES (274637) or online.
If the information leads to an arrest or indictment, a tipster could receive a reward of up to $2,000.
