WHO: General Services Administration
WHAT: GSA provided $80.5 million in stimulus funds to the IRS for an office-building renovation in Andover, Mass.
WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: Renovations will include a new reflecting pool, art gallery, and indoor gardens. Also, the office is designed to house 2,000 employees, even though only 900 currently work there. Let’s hope the IRS abandons any national plans to double in size.
WHERE TO VENT: Call the GSA at 202-501-0800.
