When we go out tonight, our song of choice will be “Shake That,” in honor of Nate Dogg’s death earlier today in his Long Beach home. His cause of death is not known, but he suffered two heart attacks in recent years, and had dwindling health. Rappers Snoop Dogg 50 cent and Ludacris have already paid their 140-word homage, and others are sure to follow suit. “There is a certain void in hip hop’s heart that can never be filled. Glad we got to make history together,” Ludacris tweeted. Nate Dogg had several Grammy-nominated collaborations including “Shake That,” “Area Codes” and “The Next Episode.”
