Having emerged from another hellish commuting day made worse by exaggerated security measures for this week’s nuclear summit (seriously, how many blocks do they need to cordon off?), I’m inclined to take this smart advice from our own Gene Healy:
Conservatives understand that exaggerated fears of environmental threats make government grow and liberty shrink. They’d do well to recognize that the same dynamic applies to homeland security.
