- First lady Melania Trump has begun planning for Christmas at the White House, a monthslong affair that starts with posing for the Christmas card, setting a theme for the decorations, and hiring volunteers to help. - Jim Daly, president of the influential Focus on the Family Christian ministry, said that evangelicals are again going to support Trump in overwhelming numbers. While they sometimes cringe at the president’s tweets, he said that 80% appreciate and support Trump’s policies, especially his anti-abortion initiatives. Daly also told us that he’d like to see the president talk a little more about God, somewhat like Vice President Mike Pence. “I’d prefer that he express it,” he said. …
