Yeas & Nays asked some of Washington’s top leaders what they got Dear Old Dad this weekend.

Since her father is recovering from minor surgery Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., pledged to give her dad a year supply of ice cream. Now that’s a sweet deal.

Rep. Linda Sanchez, D-Calif., bought her father a pair of flip-flops and shorts for the hot California weather.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Shultz, D-Fla., purchased a handball T-shirt for her father because he loves playing four-wall handball.

Rep. Dan Boren, D-Okla., bought his father, former Sen. David Boren, several framed pictures of his granddaughter.

Speaking of famous fathers, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., D-Ill., said he spent some extra time with his dad, Rev. Jesse Jackson, and threw in a little dinner to boot.

But Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” was keen to remind her dad, former National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, that the family’s power now resides in the Fourth Estate. “I gave him a ‘Morning Joe’ mug,” she said.
