South Park makes reference to Harambe in “Wieners Out” [VIDEO]

It’s not often that South Park can pay homage to a beloved American icon without even mentioning his name, but on Wednesday night, they did.

In the fourth episode of its 20th season on Comedy Central, creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker referenced Harambe in the episode “Wieners Out,” which is a play on the Harambe tribute “dicks out for Harambe.”

Its story arc continues following how trolling impacts the lives of Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman and the rest of the students at South Park elementary. What started off as a wave of trolling has boiled over to every girl student breaking up with their boyfriends at school.

The episode fan-favorite Butters reaches his tipping point when his Canadian girlfriend, Charlotte, tells him to not call her anymore. This leads Butters to begin a protest at the girl’s volleyball game (who, in an earlier episode, were protesting the national anthem) in which he pulls down his pants, whips out his penis, and holds his left fist in the air.

Later, the rest of the boys begin to follow Butters by going pant-less and marching down the hallway.

Stone and Parker even referenced Donald Trump’s defense of the 2005 “grab them by the pussy” tape incorporating “locker room talk” without even mentioning him or anything involved in the scandal.
