Lt. Gen. Joe Ballard, who is supporting Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, used his childhood experiences in the country to explain why Clinton’s opponent, Sen. Barack Obama, was ill-equipped to assume the position of commander in chief.
“I’ve spent a lot of time on farms,” said Ballard, “and just because you recognize the cow, doesn’t mean you know how to milk it.”
But he wasn’t done.
“No one can tell you how to milk a cow. You need to do that yourself.”
And … one more.
“Obama can recognize the cow. … That doesn’t necessarily make him an expert on how to milk one.”
Got it? And by “it,” we mean milk.
