Presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump continued attacking 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney Wednesday, saying he waddles like a penguin.
Midway through his rally in Anaheim, Calif., on Wednesday afternoon, Trump took repeated shots at Romney, particularly for his walking style.
“He walks like a penguin onto the stage,” Trump said, moving his fingers back and forth in a walking motion. “Like a penguin!”
“But it’s alright. Who knows?!” Trump added.
Trump made the remark after criticizing him out for “choking like a dog” and losing the 2012 race to President Obama before hitting him for his lack of athletic skills. Romney’s most notable sporting feat was fighting former Heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield in a charity boxing match last year.
“He saw Trump saying he can’t run because I understand losers,” Trump said. “I understand losers. You can make a lot of money with losers. And I said we couldn’t take a chance. He was all excited and wanted to run. And I said ‘Mitt cannot run. He choked like a dog.'”
“Have you ever seen him in athletics,” Trump said, putting his hands around his nick in a choking motion. “He’s a choker! And you know the truth? I hate to say it. I hope we don’t have too many in the audience — once a choker, always a choker.”
