The alleged child sex abuse victim of longtime CNN producer John Griffin was placed in a “protective environment” in Connecticut, according to the child’s attorney.
Griffin allegedly paid a woman $3,000 to bring her daughter, a 9-year-old referred to as Jane Doe in the filings, to his Vermont ski house for “sexual training,” the Department of Justice said.
The former CNN producer supposedly requested three other women to bring their daughters to his ski home from April to July 2020.

Only Jane Doe’s mother complied, according to a report.
“You can just imagine how traumatic being subjected to something like this is, and particularly for a child who’s that age,” the victim’s attorney said. “My main interest is in securing Griffin’s assets so that he doesn’t have the wherewithal to ever do this to another child.”
In one instance, Griffin, wearing only underwear, is accused of standing in front of the completely naked child, according to a video Griffin took himself.
He told the FBI he was “not looking at the naked child,” the report noted.
Griffin was fired by CNN in December 2021, with the network stating they had no prior knowledge of the accusations facing him, according to the report.
