Ted Cruz released an aggressive new advertisement pledging to “rebuild the military” and “kill the terrorists” Friday.
Cruz’s new ad is set to air during Saturday’s Big 10 championship game, featuring the University of Iowa’s undefeated college football team.
“Under no circumstances, will I ever apologize for America,” Cruz says in the new ad. “Under President Obama and Secretary Clinton, the world is more dangerous.”
“If I’m elected … we won’t cower in the face of evil,” Cruz says.
“America will lead. We’ll rebuild our military,” Cruz continues.
Cruz’s campaign is currently seen as ascendant, and the Texas senator currently ranks second in the Washington Examiner’s power rankings.
