Gang leader sentenced to life plus 150 years

A Hispanic street gang leader was sentenced to life in prison plus 150 years in D.C. federal court for a series of violent crimes committed by MS-13 members, including murder and shooting a woman in the face because she refused to let gang members move into her home. William Cordova, 26, and three other men were convicted in the murder of 18-year-old Edwin Ventura in April 2007. Cordova was also found guilty of shooting a woman at a bus stop after she tried to kick the men and her 18-year-old son out of her house.
