President Obama rarely admits it, but big companies and industry groups tend to love his agenda — especially Obamacare — as the congressional investigation into the agreements struck with drug companies to pass that bill indicates.
But the health care industry more broadly is very enamored of Obamacare, as former President Bill Clinton explained last week.

Clinton, at a joint fundraiser with Obama, recalled speaking a few weeks ago to a health care industry “conglomerate” that he expected to be “hostile” to Obamacare but found to be enthusiastically supportive of the bill.
“So after it was over, they said, you’re preaching to the saved — even those of us who don’t like certain provisions of the health care law would be mortified if it were repealed,” Clinton told a group of Democratic donors. For context, Clinton explained that he was talking to “insurers, there were health care providers, there were all these people that — in the health care industry.”
The moral of Clinton’s story was that “our investments plus our private venture capital investment led the world” under Obama. But those “investments” are often just subsidies and mandates from Obama requiring Americans to purchase products sold by those drug companies and insurance companies.
