A New York company jabbed Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s suggestion that families in the state limit contact over the Thanksgiving holiday.
In a description posted to the website of Buffalo-based Custom 716, the company advertised a window sticker of Cuomo that is “sure to get laughs” along with a $10 price tag and a promotion canceling out shipping and handling fees.
“Great for all gatherings, sure to get laughs, great for your business or your home!” the description reads. “$10 and I will mail it to you for free, or pick up is available. Located in North Tonawanda, NY.”
Cuomo has asked New Yorkers to consider limited gatherings for Thanksgiving, citing the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 at a time when the flu season is beginning across the country.
“It’s your family, it’s your home, it’s your table — these are all environments where you feel safe, and that’s the beauty of Thanksgiving,” Cuomo told reporters at a press conference on Thursday. “Your safe zone is not a safe zone. Your safe zone is dangerous this year.”
