Teen found shot to death in Brookeville
Montgomery County police detectives are investigating the shooting death of a teenager who was found by a motorist Tuesday.
The 18-year-old male was discovered at about 2 a.m. in the driveway of a large vacant property in the Mount Zion area of Brookeville. Police said they did not believe the slaying was a random act. Police had not released the identity of the victim because they had not contacted his family. This was the first homicide of the year for the county.
