When S. Hinton and his wife, Kia, were touring the model home at Vale Meadows in Bel Air, something happened to them that they hadn’t experienced during their previous stops in new home developments.
“People came into the model and invited us into their own homes,” he said. “I’ve never been a part of something like that. It’s such a nice, friendly environment.”
The 107 villa homes of Vale Meadows are attached, but are so spacious they have a single-family home feel. The three- or four-bedroom homes have stone and brick exteriors and come with 2.5 bathrooms and two-car garages, standard. There are full basements that can be fully finished, and they begin at 2,533 square feet.
The entrance of the community exudes quality from the moment visitors drive past the gazebo and large pond with fountain and waterfall.

The Hintons were especially drawn to the floor plan.
“If you have family or friends over, you can be cooking in the kitchen and still be a part of the family in the other rooms,” S. Hinton said. “Once I went in it was eye-dropping, mouth-watering. My wife and I loved it right away.”
Located within walking distance from downtown Bel Air, the community is about 30 or 40 minutes north of Baltimore.
“With Bel Air you get good schools, good restaurants,” S. Hinton said. “You have everything you need. You’re very comfortable in your surroundings.”
The homeowners fee of $133 per month covers the maintenance of landscaping outside both the units and in the common area.
“The idea is to live in a parklike setting, and you don’t have to maintain the park,” St. Clair said.
“It’s all done for you.”
