A night out tonight

Perfect your Country Grammar

Nelly, the three-time Grammy winning Southern rapper, will take a Baltimore stage tonight. Rams Head Live doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $50 for loft seating or $35 for general admission.

Baltimore is one of only a dozen stops on Nelly’s Brass Knuckles tour that kicked off Sept. 15.

His new album, “Brass Knuckles,” features a more aggressive, hard-hitting style than Nelly’s crossover hits such as “Country Grammar,” “Hot in Here” and “Over and Over.” Nelly’s career album sales exceed 30 million.

The new album, his fifth studio effort, also features more collaborations than solos. The long list of guest artists on the album include Usher, Pharrell, Akon, Ciara, Chuck D, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Ashanti, St. Lunatics and up-and-coming R&B singer Avery Storm.
