The belief among President Trump’s supporters that the election victory was “stolen” through fraud has surged anew, driving 66% to urge the Republican to run in 2024 if Joe Biden is certified the winner.
A new survey for the communications and messaging firm Seven Letter found that 79% of Trump supporters believe that Democrats stole the election from Trump, even more than a similar Rasmussen Reports survey last week that put the number at 75%.
And as a result, 66% of supporters want the president to run again in 2024, which he has privately vowed to do. In the survey, he outdistanced Vice President Mike Pence and his son Donald Trump Jr.

“Sixty-six percent of GOP voters think President Trump should run again for president in 2024. Provided a list of potential candidates, Trump leads the 2024 field among Republican voters, with 35%. He’s trailed by Vice President Mike Pence (19%), Donald Trump Jr. (11%), Ambassador Nikki Haley (7%), and Senator Ted Cruz (6%),” said the analysis.
Pence, however, has a higher favorability in the party.
The new survey was the first from Seven Letter’s new outfit, Seven Letter Insight, a public opinion and messaging research firm. It is headed by Matt George, founder and president of Matt George Associates and a former partner at Luntz Global Partners.
The post-election Seven Letter Insight Voter Priorities Survey found the nation remains extremely divided. For example, majorities of Democrats and Republicans have no respect for each other. And 52% of Democrats are “less likely” to hire Republicans, and 50% of Republicans are less likely to hire Democrats.
