Actress Jamie Lee Curtis won her first Oscar at 64 years old during Sunday night’s ceremony.
Curtis received the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

The daughter of Hollywood icons Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis, the actress got her start in show business very early.

After her appearance in the original Halloween, Curtis quickly became a household name. In the franchise’s final installment in 2022, she was an executive producer. She has since starred in movies and television shows across genres.
However, the actress wasn’t nominated for an Oscar until recently.

Now, she boasts one nomination and one win.
Some expected the Oscar to go to actress Angela Bassett for her performance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The nod for Best Supporting Actress was Bassett’s first since 1994, when she was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her portrayal of Tina Turner in the biopic What’s Love Got to Do with It.
