Taxpayers charged nearly $200,000 for Hunter Biden business travel while Joe Biden was vice president

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden reportedly cost taxpayers almost $200,000 in travel expenses during his father’s time in office.

Taxpayers were charged $193,696 to cover Hunter Biden’s travels across the globe securing various business deals, according to an official database that reports unclassified government spending.

While his father was vice president, Hunter Biden traveled to at least 10 different countries and racked up 28 separate bills, which all involved taxpayer payments to a “miscellaneous foreign contractor” or “miscellaneous foreign awardee,” the Washington Free Beacon reported.

Hunter Biden, who never held an official government position, far surpassed the travel total of Trump’s children, which is only listed at around $40,000 combined.

Hunter Biden has been at the center of numerous questions about his finances, including concern raised about his tenure as a board member of a Ukrainian energy company that paid him $83,000 per month despite his lack of any experience in that field.

The Washington Examiner reported that an investment firm linked to Hunter Biden took in over $130 million in federal bailout loans while Joe Biden was vice president.

Hunter Biden has also generated news headlines for his personal life, and he was accused last year of smoking crack cocaine inside a Washington, D.C., strip club.

One of the strippers at a club he frequented said Hunter Biden fathered a child with her, a claim he initially denied before DNA testing ultimately proved that he was, in fact, the father of the child.

Hunter Biden recently agreed to a child support settlement, the details of which will remain sealed.
