Donald Trump’s family will not only attend next month’s Republican National Convention, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee now claims his wife and children will each speak at the event as well.
“I love my family. I love my children. My children are going to be speaking at the convention,” Trump said Friday during a keynote address at the Western Conservative Summit in Denver.
“My children are all going to be speaking: Ivanka, Tiffany, Don, Eric,” he told the crowd. “My wife is going to be speaking at the convention. We’re going to have a great time.”
The grown Trump children frequently joined their father at his campaign rallies and televised town halls during the GOP primary and have played a significant role in the restructuring of his campaign in the general election.
Earlier this week, Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka, said the four-day convention will feature a “combination of our great politicians, but also great American businessmen and woman and leaders across industry and leaders across really sectors, from athletes to coaches and everything in between.”
Trump has previously said he intends to stack the list of convention speakers with a handful of sports icons.
The billionaire has previously declared an interest in having retired college basketball coach Bobby Knight, who endorsed Trump shortly before the Indiana Republican primary, deliver remarks in Cleveland.
