Body of missing WSSC worker found in reservoir

The body of a Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission worker missing since Dec. 2 has been found in the Triadelphia Reservoir.

Montgomery County police said 35-year-old Charles Duckett’s body was found at about 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

An autopsy is being conducted to determine how he died.

Duckett, of Middle River, disappeared while working at the reservoir for a managed deer hunt. The maintenance employee had been working for WSSC for 12 years.

Extensive searches had been conducted throughout the reservoir area over the past two weeks. Duckett’s family and friends held a vigil for him last weekend.

Anyone with information about what happened to him can call police at 240-773-5070.
