GOP Senator concerned about Trump’s frequent Mar-a-Lago trips — The Iowa senator said she has yet to speak to the president about the "Florida issue" but voiced that she isn't the only caucus member concerned, so it will likely be a point of discussion when she returns to Washington, D.C. Senator Joni Ernst, R-IA., said on Tuesday that the president’s frequent trips to Mar-a-Lago have been “bothering” her.

“I do wish he would spend more time in Washington, D.C.,” the senator said during a town hall meeting in Wall Lake, Iowa. “That’s what we have the White House for, we would love to see more of those State Department visits in Washington, D.C.”
