Daily Caller editor Tucker Carlson created a stir today, after denouncing Cain’s qualifications to be president early this morning on Fox News.
“Can we just stop pretending?” asked Carlson bluntly, before adding that he both knew and liked Herman Cain, and he would admittedly be a be a better president than Obama. “I like the whole Fidel Castro, third person thing,” he joked.

“We all have to sit and pretend, Herman Cain would be a great president.” Carlson said, “He would be great at a lot of things, but he is not qualified to be president. We had to pretend. He isn’t.”
Carlson added, “I wish we could stop and acknowledge this is a serious election. It is a crummy selection, but there has to be someone who understands the issues better than Herman Cain.”
