Trump appoints new acting HHS secretary

President Trump has appointed Eric Hargan to serve as the acting secretary of Health and Human Services, replacing agency veteran Don Wright.

Hargan was recently confirmed by the Senate recently to serve as the deputy HHS secretary. He will temporarily serve as acting secretary while the administration looks for a permanent replacement for Tom Price, who resigned after a scandal involving his rampant private jet use.
