Cory Booker, the mayor of Newark, N.J., is often compared to our own Mayor Adrian Fenty. After all, both are young, African-American, reform-minded — and bald.
Now they have one more thing in common — an active social life in D.C. Booker attended a small reception at the Park at 14th on Monday evening, hosted by longtime supporter and Washington lawyer, Eric Broyles.

Booker is in town for the Mayors Against Illegal Guns Summit and stopped by to say thank you to some of his local supporters and to provide a progress report on his first term as mayor.
