Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth’s review hearing, which was supposed to have occurred Tuesday, was moved to June 8, Williamson County (Tenn.) District Attorney Kim Helper said.
Haynesworth faces six months in jail and a $500 fine for reckless driving as well as one month in jail and a $50 fine for driving with an expired registration. He was involved in a car accident Dec. 13 in Tennessee that allegedly caused another driver to lose control and crash into a concrete median.
Helper said the change of date was common as both sides see if they can resolve matters.
Haynesworth, who signed a seven-year, $100-million contract with Washington on Feb. 27, was placed on 30 days probation for driving 103 mph in a 70-mph zone on Dec. 9, Four days later he was involved in the accident.
