And the winner is … Glenn Beck?
Liberal media watchdog group Media Matters for America named the Fox News host “Misinformer of the Year 2009” because “no one in 2009 peddled more hate, stirred more groundless fears and spread more lies,” according to a video dedicated to Beck on mediamatters.org.
Beck also was awarded “Most Outrageous Comment of 2009” for asserting that the president is a racist when he said Obama has “exposed himself as a guy” with “a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture.”
