Celebrate DOCOMOMO Tour Day in Washington on Saturday by participating in a walking tour of Southwest D.C. with noted architectural historian Richard Longstreth.

DOCOMOMO stands for Documentation and Conservation of the Modern Movement, and Southwest boasts the greatest concentration of Midcentury resources in the city. Longstreth will be visiting many of the buildings and landscapes that transformed this area nearly 50 years ago, and talking about the designers and architects behind the grand vision. The tour starts at 10 a.m.

Reservations are required. E-mail rsvp@dcpreservation.org or call 202-783-5144.
