Shakira has more on her mind than just her music. The singer and her charity, Shakira’s Alas Foundation, currently work to promote early-childhood development in Latin American countries. And she is now turning her efforts to Brazil.
In the capital of Brasilia on Thursday, Shakira and president Dilma Rousseff spoke about their collaboration efforts, ending with Shakira presenting the president with a guitar.
Shakira and her organization have already started 20 different early-childhood development centers in Argentina, before bringing the programs to Brasil.
