‘Goodnight, everybody’: Quotes of the week

With two weeks to go until the midterm elections, the news cycle was understandably dominated by key campaign races. None more so than Pennsylvania, where Democrat John Fetterman took on Republican Mehmet Oz in a debate. Fetterman, who suffered a stroke earlier this year, had a rough night. Meanwhile, Herschel Walker was hit with another abortion accusation. And Elon Musk finally closed out the Twitter deal. Here are the quotes of the week.

“Listen, I know Charlie is interested in talking about 2024 and Joe Biden, but I just want to make things very, very clear. The only worn-out old donkey I’m looking to put out to pasture is Charlie Crist.”
