Evidence suggests Trayvon Martin attacked George Zimmerman before shooting

People on the left including President Obama and Al Sharpton rushed to judgment in the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting, suggesting that George Zimmerman shot him in cold blood without adequate evidence.

But new evidence has surfaced substantiating Zimmerman’s story that Martin attacked him resulting in the chain of events that led to the 17-year-old’s shooting death.

ABCNews reports that it has obtained a photo showing what reportedly is the back of Zimmerman’s bloodied head. The revelation came as the defendant’s attorney and prosecutors prepared for a bail hearing.

Commenters on the ABCNews website chastised those who rushed to judgment against Zimmerman.

“I’m just in awe how even with more evidence the race baiters are still insisting that it was Trayvon defending himself from a armed assailant and got killed for doing just that,” wrote poster ghost62us.

While poster This_I_Know questioned the notion that Zimmerman should have stood idle and let Martin beat him to a pulp.

“…[I]f some stranger is stalking you, confronts you, you should just stand there and pick your nails, scratch your nose and just wait and see what they’re up to? Americans are a pathetic lot,” the poster wrote.
