It was an eventful week in north Texas covering the Super Bowl for the Playboy Morning Show team.
Kevin Klein and “Super Producer” Gina Yates got stuck in a hotel elevator during a rolling brown out. Gina’s freakout was classic as Kevin caught it on tape.
Andrea Lowell braved the sub freezing temps to do field reports for the show out in the snow. Proving that no matter what the weather – the show must go on!
But the highlight of the week came Friday as the “The Darling of Dallas” bent over the table and with millions of listeners waiting not to mention the entire sports world holding their colective breath. All were wondering the same thing – who would be the lucky team that stuck close to her?
The team that stuck close to her heart was Pittsburgh.
Lowell deemed that the Steelers will hoist their seventh Lombardi Trophy come Sunday night.
Her choice of the Steelers to win the big game came after a stunning 9-1 record in the NFL Playoffs. So you can understand why millions of people tuned in to hear the broadcast.
In a word Lowell has been M-O-N-E-Y in the NFL Playoffs.
We at the Washington Examiner want to thank the gifted and talend Lowell along with her brilliant co host Klein, a Washington, D.C. native for being such good sports and picking the NFL games for all season long. For the record Klein did have the best record of the two in the regular season.
The duo who co-host the wildly popular Playboy Morning Show heard weekday’s 10a.m.on Sirius-XM channel 99 were outstanding both going over 67% in their weekly picks at the end of the 2010 season.
I would like to personally like to thank Kevin, Andrea, Playboy Radio boss Farrell Hirsch, super producer Gina Yates and the very versatile Jauron for all their kindness.
The entire team has been great to work with and having them being a part of our team at the Washington Examiner has been a real treat.
Keep listening to their show it is entertaining, funny and great fun.
