Wendy Williams and Jessica Alba agree: To be a female boss, you need to make people cry

Wendy Williams discussed Jessica Alba during her “Hot Topics” segment Wednesday and agreed with the actress’s recent statements that being a female boss means that you have to be “witchy.”

Alba is the founder of The Honest Company, a billion dollar company that sells non-toxic household goods, diapers, and body products. She said recently that being a female mogul forces you to be mean and even admitted to making employees cry.

Williams agreed with Alba.

“I get when you have to be a little more witchy and go right there and make people cry,” Williams said. “Otherwise, they won’t take you seriously.”

Williams noted that Alba is a beautiful woman of a smaller stature and needs to overcompensate in the way a good-looking, but short man wouldn’t.
