#BlackLivesMatter activist shuts down interstate, rewarded with White House visit

President Obama could be working to unite all races, but beyond his reminders for the movement “to maintain a respectful, thoughtful tone,” he is supporting the divisive Black Lives Matter movement by rewarding activists with visits to the White House.

After shutting down I-94 in a St. Paul protest on July 9, Mica Grimm appeared at the White House on Wednesday, The Daily Caller reported.

“We know that we’re at risk just by showing up,” she said. “And that’s why it is so brave, so courageous, and we’re about to make some noise today.” Grimm’s actions date back to 2014 and she described a message with a friend about “tak[ing] over a highway” and how she thought “we should do a die-in on a highway.”

Many protesters yelled “f*ck the police,” including those who cursed at and got physical with a Fox News reporter attempting to ask them why they were there. Grimm herself retweeted the call.

Wednesday’s meeting of 40 people lasted several hours but the consensus was a lack of solving the issue. “When they emerged four-and-a-half hours later, the biggest point of agreement seemed to be that the issues would not be solved overnight,” USA Today reported.
