Michaela Jae “Mj” Rodriguez became the first transgender actor or actress to win a Golden Globe Sunday.

Rodriguez, a biological male who identifies as a woman, took home the award for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series — Drama” for her performance as Blanca in the FX show Pose.
