Trump disavows butler who wants Obama executed

Donald Trump disavowed his former butler Tony Senecal on Thursday afternoon after the Secret Service announced they would investigate the former Trump employee’s statements calling for President Obama to be executed.

“Tony Senecal has not worked for Mar-a-Lago for years, but nevertheless we totally and completely disavow the horrible statements made by him regarding the president,” the Trump campaign wrote.

The Secret Service opened the investigation after the media revealed a number of Facebook posts in which Senecal called for Obama to be shot by the military and hanged. The Trump employee also refers to Obama as a “m——-,” a derogatory term for Muslims often used by white supremacists.

Senecal worked for Trump for over 17 years as both a butler and as a historian of the Mar-a-Lago estate. While Senecal said he stands by his comments about Obama, he said his views do not reflect the views of his former boss.
