Clinton promises LGBT crowd she will end ‘conversion therapy’

Hillary Clinton vowed Sunday to put a stop to “conversion therapy,” the practice by which a person undergoes counseling in order to change their sexual orientation from homosexual to heterosexual.

“We’re going to end the harmful practice of so-called conversion therapy!” she said at a campaign stop at a gay-friendly club in Wilton Manors, Fla. “LGBT kids don’t need to be cured of anything. They just need to be accepted and embraced and respected.”
