Prince George’s County Police are looking for a man who broke into the Capitol Heights home of a 70-year-old woman between 2 and 6:30 a.m. Friday and beat her, leaving her with a broken eye socket, a broken nose and bleeding on her brain.
Police released still shots from surveillance footage taken from a nearby church at 6:12 a.m. Friday. The photos show the man police believe to be responsible for the home invasion, said spokesman Cpl. Larry Johnson.
Police have not yet released a description of the suspect or the name of the victim, who is currently in “stable but still serious condition” at a nearby hospital, Johnson said.
