O’Malley to head to Iowa next month

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who is considering a White House bid in 2016, is headed to Iowa next month.

Christina Freundlich, a spokeswoman for the Iowa Democratic Party, confirmed Thursday that O’Malley is scheduled to attend the party’s Hall of Fame celebration honoring Iowa Sen. Tom Harkin on June 20 in Des Moines, Iowa.
