Seriously??: Text4Baby to help clueless mothers

Well, this administration did promise to be one of the most tech-savvy, after all.

And now, finally, there’s a step-by-step guide to raising a child sent straight to your mobile device.

That’s right, good old Big Brother is stepping in and educating the nation’s uninformed mothers through their cell phones.

In a program announced Thursday by the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy called text4baby, expectant mothers can receive snippets to their phone about how to raise a healthy baby in an attempt to prevent premature births.

By texting BABY to 511411 (or BEBE for Spanish), ladies can receive three free text messages a week, timed to the due date or baby’s date of birth.
