Whatever happens this election day, don’t despair: Angelina Jolie could still throw her hat in the ring.
Angelina Jolie suggested to Vanity Fair that she’s thought about politics, but hasn’t decided yet what role would be best for her to play.
“I am open,” she said, when asked if she would consider a career in politics.
“When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered,” she said. “Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility.”
She then added, “But I honestly don’t know in what role I would be more useful—I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible.”
Jolie has been known to throw some shade at Obama in the past.
She is currently a UN High Commissioner for Refugees director and special envoy.
